Facebook Farm Town Crops Gone to Waste

I didn't realize I had crops to harvest yesterday until I opened Farm Town today. And yes, all of them have gone to waste. The color of brown fields just pains my heart really because after plowing and planting, I will be clearing the fields again because of the rotten crops. It's such a waste of time.

Well, crops-gone-to-waste is a reality in Farm Town and we have to get used to that brown fields if we are not careful enough to take note of the harvesting date. For me, I was just really so occupied with work yesterday that I thought my crops won't be available for harvest until today. I forgot I planted carrots. Tsk! Tsk! Tsk!

Will be cleaning up the brown fields later. I just feel a bit frustrated. But I need to continue farming because I only need one more level to get that much-coveted mansion. :)

Farm Town cheat or help... you decide

I received an email this morning from one of our blog readers. He informed me about a new technique (?) to easily and quickly gain experience points in Farm Town. Excerpt of the email below:

Hi, I have a technique for gaining a lot of experience points in Farm Town. I use a program called RemoteKeys to automate the buying of hay bales, which have the highest point/coins ratio (1:10). Using it, I recorded a sequence for buying 12 bales of hay, then selling them. The script repeats 50 times, so it generates 3000 points each time it is run. I've used it to gain about 60,000 points.

Of course, he emailed me the program that will be needed through RemoteKeys to make the technique (or cheat) work. Has any of you tried this technique? I'd love to try this in my farm but I am hesitant to download Remotekeys for fear that I might get a virus or some malicious codes.

If you've tried this technique and liked it, please share us your thoughts. Thanks and happy Sunday everyone!

The Sims Social on Facebook - Cheat and Hints

Hello Farm Town Farmers! It's heartwarming to note that a lot of us are still playing Farm Town even if there are already a lot of games being introduced on Facebook. Good thing too that Slashkey has also been introducing new features on Farm Town to keep us playing.

Anyway, another game is currently playing on Facebook. It's called The Sims Social. If you have played The Sims before, then this game is not new to you although there are plenty of additions like taking care of plants, planting and plowing, and few others.

Expectedly, a lot of players are digging up the web to look for Facebook Sims Social Cheats - how they can advance their character without actually playing the game, how they can earn Sims cash without sweating it out, or how they can upgrade their houses without actually performing tasks.

As what I've been saying before, looking for cheats for your Facebook game will surely defeat the thrill and excitement of playing. Why do we have to look for cheats when the purpose of our playing Facebook games is to have fun. I don't understand why a lot of players find it fun to play the game using cheats and codes.

Anyway, I have started playing Sims Social last week and I can say that it's fun although Farm Town remains to be my number one Facebook game.

Happy Farming everyone!

Facebook Farm Town Tip: How to Remove Spaces Between Fields

Hello there Farm Town Farmers. Thanks for the email messages some of you sent me. Anyway, I got an email from a Farm Town beginner asking me for ways to remove spaces between fields. I have tackled this topic before but since this blog was suspended and then reactivated by Blogger sans the original posts, I will discuss again this same topic.

I assume that the email sender refers to the space like the one in the picture below:

And she wants to it to look like one in the picture below:

It's actually not rocket science but honestly, it also took me several days to finally figure out how to do it when I was new in Farm Town.

To remove spaces between fields, simply click on the icon located on the upper right hand corner of your farm.

The "Preference" window will pop up and all you have to do is check the square button where it says "Remove Space Between Fields" then hit the green CHECK button

And that's it! The next time you place fields on your farm, there won't be any more spaces between them. If you want to put the spaces back, just uncheck the "Remove Space Between Fields" button.

Do you still play Farm Town?

It's so heart-warming to receive a lot of messages from Farmtown farmers who have been reading this blog. I'm happy to note that you are still there and you still trust this site for your Farmtown needs.

Anyway, I wonder if you still play FarmTown with all the new farm games now up on Facebook. Does it still appeal you to check your farms regularly just like what you've done when FT was first introduced? Have you found some new tricks and tips for new players?

Farmtown Farmer's Blog back online

Dear FarmTown Farmers,

For nearly six months, I fought hard to reinstate this blog (farmtownfarmer.blogspot.com) but didn't get any response from blogger. As you noticed, this blog was suspended for alleged spamming activities when all I did was to let visitors read various tips and articles about how to play Farm Town on Facebook.

For nearly six months, I cried at night, didn't sleep well, played Farm Town but ended up just staring at the field. Farmtownfarmer.blogspot.com had been a community of people who love to play the game. With more than 350 readers of the blog, I toiled hard to provide you with only the most accurate tips, cheats, and updates about farmtown.

As a consolation, blogger deleted farmtownfarmer.blogspot.com and made it available back for registration. Good thing I noticed it and immediately re-registered the blog.

This is the reason why we are back online. And i hope I can still get the same passion, the same energy, and the same excitement in regularly updating this website following the death of the old site.

I hope you will continue to read this blog.
